Gunshot fired on I-94 in Mandan
MANDAN – The North Dakota Highway Patrol and Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating an incident on Sunday when a gunshot was fired from a vehicle on Interstate 94 in Mandan.
According to the Highway Patrol, about 12:25 p.m., a Highway Patrol trooper was following a car on I-94 eastbound in the city of Mandan, just east of Exit 153. The trooper heard a gunshot and observed the passenger side window of the car shatter. The trooper stopped the vehicle and two males were detained from the vehicle without incident. A loaded handgun was found inside the car.
Both males from the vehicle were arrested for being felons in possession of a firearm. No one was injured in the incident. More information will be released at a later date.
