The Minot Fire Department was dispatched to 1025 Valley Street in southeast Minot at 12:52 a.m. on Saturday for a reported structure fire in the garage.

Firefighters arrived on the scene within three minutes of the initial dispatch and discovered heavy smoke from the two-stall detached garage. Firefighters entered the garage and began to extinguish the fire. The fire was contained in the detached two-stall garage. The home adjacent to the garage sustained no damage during the fire. All five stations responded to contain the fire.

No one was injured. The fire is still under investigation.
