Paul Thomas

VELVA – Kathy Holte of Voltaire recently received an Excellence Award from the North Dakota Township Officers Association for 2023. Holte was hired to compose the NDTOA Grassroots Report in 2002 and served as the publication editor until 2023.

Rep. Paul Thomas, R-Velva, received NDTOA’s Legislator of the Year Award for 2023. The organization recognizes a legislator each year for support of grassroots government, demonstrated by sponsoring key legislation, opposing harmful legislation or by consistent support of townships and rural values over several sessions. Thomas has served in the House since 2021.
