Minot Police ready for Stuff-A-Squad Toy Drive

The Minot Police Department and the Souris Valley Regional Lodge #7 of the North Dakota Fraternal Order of Police are gearing up for the seventh annual Stuff-A-Squad toy drive.

Set to take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Walmart on South Broadway on Sunday, Nov. 26, the event looks to the public for donations of new unwrapped toys to be gifted to children and families in the region.

Organizers are hoping to fill to the gills as many patrol cars as they can with such donations, which will be distributed equally between the Salvation Army and Community Action Partnership to stock their free toy stores for the holiday season.

A Department spokesperson said that it is preferred that donations be brought to the event on Sunday, but those who truly will be unable to attend can drop their donations off at the Department.

Previous Stuff-a-Squad events have filled around 35 squad cars over the years. Another Stuff-a-Squad car event will be held in early December at a location to be announced at a later time.

Starting at $2.99/week.
