Dale Niewoehner, a Rugby funeral director, was re-elected as secretary and executive secretary of the North Dakota State Board of Funeral Service (NDSBFS).

Other board members include President Michael Williams of Jamestown and Treasurer James Ladbury of Dickinson. Board members are appointed by the governor and the state health officer for four-year terms.

The NDSBFS grants licenses to embalmers, funeral establishments and crematoriums as well as listens to consumer complaints.
