Minot firefighters respond to mobile home fire

A mobile home caught fire in the Woodridge Mobile Home Park in Minot early Friday morning, causing damage to the home.

Minot Fire Department units were dispatched at 1:41 a.m. for the report of the mobile home fire and crews quickly assessed the situation. Fire was discovered on the underside of the structure and one fire crew worked on extinguishing the exterior fire while another entered the mobile home. The fire inside the structure had burned through the floor before it was put out, but the homeowner exited the structure prior to the department’s arrival and no injuries were reported.

Three fire engines, one ladder truck, and one command vehicle were dispatched to the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
