Trinity Health Foundation awards nursing scholarships
Trinity Health Foundation recognized 17 nursing scholarship recipients at a banquet held in their honor on Jan. 6.
The nursing scholarships are made possible through the Trinity Health Foundation’s Nursing Scholarship Fund.
“This year we received a record number of applications for the nursing scholarship and we are proud to present 17 $3,000 scholarships to very deserving applicants. This would not be possible without the generosity of our donors who contribute to this fund,” said Dusty Zimmerman, foundation director.
The 2022-23 scholarship recipients are: Mariah Arlien, Makenzie Bjork, Kennedy Blackburn, Erin Bradford, Jill Erickson, Keegan Henjum, Breanna Svangstu, all Minot State University; Jordyn Erickson, Annelisa Tice, both Williston State College; Kimberly Hoodman, Tabbitha Smith, Sarah Wood, all Dakota College at Bottineau; Erin Morin, University of North Dakota; Sydney Mosset, Dickinson State University; Noelle Overton, University of Mary; Paige Rosencrans, Allie Wahlund, both North Dakota State University.
Recipients received recognition for their accomplishments and presented speeches. A short program was provided by Dr. Jeffrey Verhey, Trinity Health Foundation Board chairman, and Sandy Boschee, director of nursing-critical care.
