Williston man killed in motorcycle accident

A 51-year-old Williston man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday afternoon five miles west of Trenton, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The man’s name has not yet been released.

According to the Patrol, the man was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle north on North Dakota Highway 1804, near mile marker 335, when he lost control of the motorcycle while trying to pass another vehicle. The motorcycle entered the north ditch and overturned. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and was dead at the scene of the accident.

The accident happened at 3:32 p.m. on Friday.
