Donesha Yanay Greene, 35, Minot, was sentenced on Friday to 360 days in jail, all suspended but the 21 days she has already served in jail, and 18 months of supervised probation for Class C felony child neglect. She was arrested and charged with Class C felony child neglect after a child was found to have been living in a home with access to illegal drugs and firearms in August 2021.

The Class C felony child neglect charge will appear as a Class A misdemeanor on her record if she successfully complies with all court conditions.

Judge Richard Hagar also ordered Greene to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation, to cooperate with social services regarding the child, and to pay $525 in court costs.
