Devin Paul Larson, 32, Norwich, was sentenced on Thursday to two years in prison, all suspended but the 40 days he has already served in the Ward County Jail, and two years of supervised probation for punching his cell mate in the face and breaking his nose at the Ward County Jail on Jan. 27. The victim had asked Larson, who was incarcerated on an unrelated charge, to keep his things in order in their cell and Larson “cheap shotted” the other man, according to court documents.

Larson pleaded guilty to the Class C felony aggravated assault charge.

Judge Gary Lee also ordered Larson to stay away from the victim, to take an anger management class, and to pay $525 in court costs and restitution yet to be determined.
