Phi Beta Lambda students win awards at conference

The Minot State Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda competed and students won awards at the National FBLA-PBL Conference held in Chicago, June 24-27.

Award winners included Kelsey McCloud, first place in microeconomics, national champion, and third place in personal finance; Tanner Thompson, first place in small business management, national champion, fifth place in local chapter annual business report, and seventh place in future business executive; Melanie MacPherson, second place in future business executive; Macpherson and Jada Clarke, seventh place in community service project; Clarke, seventh place in job interview.

Thompson was North Dakota Who’s Who in Phi Beta Lambda and Repnow was named North Dakota Outstanding PBL Chapter Adviser.

Minot State received a Gold Seal Chapter distinction. MacPherson and Haley Wood were recognized with Bronze Awards of Excellence. MacPherson, Thompson and Hannah Heisler were National Leadership Conference scholarship recipients. Repnow and Megan Fixen are the advisers for the MSU Chapter.
