Ace Kay Aguilar, 46, Minot, has been sentenced to five years in prison, with a requirement that he serve three years, followed by two years of supervised probation, for Class C felony theft of property on July 16, 2021. The sentence is concurrent with sentences in other cases.

Judge Gary Lee also ordered Aguilar to pay $125 in court costs and restitution yet to be determined and to have no contact with the victim.

Lee gave Aguilar credit for 34 days already served in the Ward County Jail, plus five days off his sentence for good behavior.
