FARGO — Senior Airman Ethan Cermak, a member of the 219th Security Forces Squadron, was recognized as Airman of the Year during the North Dakota Air National Guard’s 119th Wing Outstanding Airmen of the Year recognition ceremony held on March 5 at Hector Air Base in Fargo.

A unit of the N.D. Air National Guard, the 219th Security Forces Squadron is located at Minot Air Force Base.

A number of other awardees were also recognized during the ceremony including the 119th Wing, known as the Happy Hooligans, formally accepted the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award for the 23rd time.
