Workshop scheduled on building soil health

BISMARCK — The public is invited to register and attend the eighth annual “Farming & Ranching for the Bottom Line” event Feb. 22 and 23. This year’s theme is “Building Soil Health: Processing the Microbiome.”

To attend in person at the National Center of Excellence on the campus of Bismarck State College, registration is only $30 for adults (covers both days) and includes two lunches and all breaks. Children and students are free and are encouraged to attend. Livestream is also free.

Keynote speakers are Joel Williams, speaking on building soil organic matter, and Paulo Carvalho, speaking on livestock integration in Brazil.
