Ryan James Peltier, 29, Minot, is charged with sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 15, a Class A felony, in February 2021 at a residence in Ward County, according to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court.

The charge was not filed until October 2021. An arrest warrant was served on Peltier on Friday and he was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the gross sexual imposition charge on Friday afternoon in district court in Minot before Judge Doug Mattson.
