Trinity Health Foundation has announced its 2021 scholarship recipients.

A record number of applicants applied for the 2021 Trinity Foundation Nursing Scholarship. Of the 68 applicants, 17 scholarships were awarded to nursing students throughout the region. Recipients each received $3,000, totaling $51,000 in awards.

The 2021 nursing scholarship recipients are: Abigail Leet, Alessandra Sams, Praise Okunbor, Rachel Martinson, Hailee Fletcher, Jenifer Marquez, Leah Azure and Nolan Compere, all Minot State University; Jessica Olafson, Payton Erie, Rachel Thompson and Michelle Hewitt, Dakota College at Bottineau; Jordyn Erickson, Williston State College; Mercedes McKay, University of North Dakota; Annie Koenig – University of Mary; Paige Rosencrans, North Dakota State University; and Seraphine Abugiche, Lake Region State College.

The annual nursing scholarship application period is open from August to September and is funded through the nursing scholarship fund founded in 1995.
