Tioga EDC hosts robotic camp for youth

TIOGA – Youth can build a robot car at a robotics camp Aug. 14 in Tioga.

Sponsored by Enbridge and hosted by the Tioga Economic Development Corp., the event runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Tioga Community Center.

Campers will complete phase one of construction and will be able to take the robot car with them to continue programming new components. David Hehman, co-founder of Creation Crate, will be teaching the course.

The free camp is intended for middle and high school students. Younger students can sign up and complete the project with the help of a parent or guardian. Register at eventbrite.com.
