Public meetings set on US 52 improvements

Public input meetings will be held next week to discuss the proposed passing lane construction and turn lane improvements for U.S. Highway 52 from Minot to Carrington. Representatives from the North Dakota Department of Transportation and Ulteig Engineers will be present to answer questions and hear concerns.

The public input meetings will utilize an open house format with a formal presentation. The content presented will be the same at each meeting.

Public input open houses will be held from 5-7 p.m., with formal presentations from 6-6:30 p.m. as follows:

– Aug. 2, Chieftain Conference Center, Tepee Room, in Carrington.

– Aug. 3, Velva Public School Gym in Velva.

– Aug. 4, Minot Public Library, North Meeting Room, in Minot.

– Aug. 5, Harvey Eagles Club in Harvey.
