Timothy Hagan, Minot, charged with attempted murder in stabbing incident
Timothy Lee Hagan, 38, Minot, was arrested yesterday afternoon is connection with the stabbing of a 65-year-old man at a northwest Minot hotel early Thursday.
Minot Police Capt. and Investigation Commander Dale Plessas said Friday morning they are still searching for an additional suspect and will release more information later.
Hagan has been charged with Class A felony attempted murder, Class A felony kidnapping with intent to terrorize, Class A felony kidnapping for ransom or reward, Class C felony terrorizing, Class C felony terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, and Class C felony aggravated assault. He is scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charges this afternoon in district court in Minot before Judge Stacy Louser.
According to police, the 65-year-old man was stabbed in a hotel room by some acquaintances, ran away and sought help from other hotel guests and staff. The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. Police were called at 3:43 a.m. Thursday.
Hagan was charged in March with possession of methamphetamine and MDMA and possession of drug paraphernalia, all C felonies. He was also scheduled to make an appearance Friday on a bench warrant in that case.
Police are seeking an additional suspect, Kerviona Bailey, 31, charged with terrorizing, prostitution, felonious restraint and kidnapping.
