Murder suspect Shawnee Krall now also charged with rape
Shawnee Lynn Krall, 28, who has been charged with Class AA felony murder in the Dec. 22, 2020, death of his roommate, Alice Queirolo, 29, at a Minot residence, is now also charged with forcible sexual assault resulting in death.
Court records show that Krall made an initial appearance Tuesday on the new, related charge of Class AA felony gross sexual imposition committed on Dec. 20, 2020.
Under state law, a sexual assault is a Class AA felony if the victim is compelled to submit by force or by threat of imminent death, serious bodily injury, or kidnapping.
No further information about the charges is available.
Krall has been held in custody since the arrest.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for June 14 before Judge Stacy Louser.
