Health department hosts COVID-19 town hall

BISMARCK – The North Dakota Department of Health will host a live, virtual “Ask a Doctor” Town Hall event at 2:30 p.m. today with doctors from across the state to discuss the importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

Participating will be Dr. Joan Connell, UND Center for Family Medicine, Bismarck; Dr. Casmiar Ngwaigwe, Trinity Health, Minot; Dr. Stephanie Foughty, Altru Health System, Devils Lake; Dr. Amy Oksa, Sanford Health, Dickinson; Dr. Marc Nielsen, Altru Health System, Grand Forks; Dr. David Field, Sanford Health, Bismarck; and Dr. James Buhr, retired, Valley City.

Members of the public can view the “Ask a Doctor” Town Hall event live at http://health.nd.gov/covidtownhall and submit questions to the doctors live during the “Q & A” panel on Microsoft Teams. Advance registration is not required.
