Stephen Falcon, Minot, charged with intent to deliver methamphetamine

Stephen Lee Falcon, 35, Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia on Monday.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Minot police received a complaint that there was noise coming from a vacant apartment in north Minot and went to investigate at 4:55 a.m. Monday. The building owner gave permission for police to kick in the door and clear out the apartment. Police kicked in the door. The apartment was occupied by Falcon and a woman, who came out of one of the bedrooms and were both detained. Police looked through the apartment and saw loaded syringe and a plastic baggie filled with crystal methamphetamine in plain view on a table. Police subsequently learned that Falcon and the woman actually were legally allowed to be in the apartment and they had been given incorrect information by the building owner. A black bag next to the needle and Ziploc baggie contained 15 individually packaged plastic baggies, each containing about one gram of methamphetamine. One of the bags was found to contain 1.5 grams.

Police interviewed Falcon at the jail, who told them that he has been selling the meth for $50 per bag and that he believed all of the meth he had in his possession was valued at a combined $750.

Falcon was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charges on Tuesday before Judge Doug Mattson.
