Christopher Miller, Minot, charged with burglary

Christopher Thomas Miller, 31, Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with burglarizing a house in Ward County on April 1.

He is charged with Class C felony burglary and Class C possession of methamphetamine.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, a man notified the Ward County Sheriff’s Department that someone was at the address who did not belong there. The sheriff’s office responded and detained Miller. There were boxes of items stolen from the house in Miller’s 1998 Chevrolet Prism. Miller had mail belonging to the home owner in his pocket. Also in his pocket was a folded paper bindle containing suspected methamphetamine. Miller was also wanted on outstanding warrants.

Miller was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charge on Monday before Judge Todd Cresap.
