Three Affiliated Tribes receive $1.2M in Head Start funds
The Three Affiliated Tribes on the Fort Berthold Reservation has received $1.2 million for Head Start programs from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Sen. Kevin Cramer announced the award on Tuesday.
The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe also received $1.3 million
The funds come through the Head Start and Early Head Start programs, which promote school readiness for young children and toddlers from low-income families.
