One person dies in camper fire in New Town
NEW TOWN – One person died in a camper fire at a New Town mobile home court on Monday evening.
Authorities said a man was locked inside a 20-foot camper that was engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on scene, The Associated Press reported.
The name of the man has not been released yet.
The fire occurred about 5 p.m., said New Town Fire Chief John DeGroot. He said the fire is still under investigation by the State Fire Marshal and Three Affiliated Tribes Police.
