A 50-year-old New Town woman was killed in a one car rollover Tuesday evening, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The accident occurred on the McLean and Ward County line at 57th Avenue NW at the junction of 373rd Avenue SW.

According to the Pattrol, the woman was driving a 2006 Chevyrolet Malibu north on 57th Avenue NW in McLean County at 6:56 p.m., approachign the county line between McLean County and Ward County. She was negotiating a curve when she ran off the roadway and entered the east ditch. She lost control of the vehicle as it tripped over an approach. The Malibu then began to roll crossing into Ward County where the vehicle came to rest on its top. The driver, who was not wearing a seat beat, sustained fatal injuries. Her name was not released pending notifcation of relatives.
