Jerome Abraham, Charles Turner charged with intent to deliver marijuana, ecstasy while in possession of firearms

Jerome Lavon Abraham, 29, and Charles Deedwin Earl Turner, 27, are charged in district court in Minot with Class A felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana while in possession of firearms, Class A felony possession with intent to deliver ecstasy while in possession of firearms, and Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia on Friday.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the Ward County Narcotics Task Force obtained a search warrant for Abraham’s and Turner’s residence at 8 25th Street NW in Minot. A search of the residence turned up an electronic scale covered in marijuana, a large amount of various marijuana containers and packaging, marijuana weighing approximately one pound in various areas in the kitchen and garage, a bottle containing THC syrup, a container of crystalline THC, a marijuana grinder, a marijuana “bone,” two baggies containing a large number os suspected ecstasy pills, a large block of THC butter, a loaded Mini Draco AK pistol, a NoDak Arms AR pistol, and a loaded Glock 30 pistol with extended magazine, several cell phones and other marijuana paraphernalia.

Abraham and Turner both made an initial appearance on the charges on Monday before Judge Doug Mattson. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for Dec. 31.
