The annual Veterans Stand Down was held at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Minot on Thursday. About 100 veterans and about 30 guests attended the event. Some changes were made this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Those attending wore masks, the meal was take out and participants received a bag with all the information inside but were still able to visit booths from various agencies covering topics including veterans benefits, counseling and health care.
