Corey Sandusky, Jefferson City, Mont., charged with reckless endangerment

Corey John Sandusky, 34, of Jefferson City, Mont., is charged with accidentally discharging a gun at a southwest Minot hotel early Wednesday morning. A bullet from the gun went through the wall into a neighboring room and landed on a bed next to one of three occupants in the neighboring room. No one in the other room was injured.

Sandusky is charged with Class C felony reckless endangerment in district court in Minot.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Sandusky told police that he had been in his room with two co-workers. They had shown each other their guns earlier. The other men had guns similar to his. He told police he had grabbed the wrong gun and pulled the trigger. The gun was pointed at an upward angle.
