Tyquan Graham charged with robbery, also allegedly involved in Sunday shooting in downtown Minot

Tyquan Markeez Graham, 22, Minot, is accused of robbing another man in the Sports on Tap bar parking lot at 1:41 a.m. on Sunday and stealing a firearm from his vehicle. He is charged with Class B felony robbery with a firearm and Class C felony felon in possession of a firearm in district court in Minot. Graham was also allegedly one of the shooters involved in a shots fired incident in downtown Minot at 2:38 a.m. on Sunday in which three people were shot and received treatment at the hospital. Three men, ages 22, 26, and 42 were injured and were taken to the hospital by private parties. No charges have yet been filed in regard to the shooting.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court in the robbery case, an unknown male suspect who was with Graham put the alleged victim in a chokehold from behind while Graham stole a Rock Island Armory 1911 .45 caliber firearm from the alleged victim’s vehicle. The two men then drove off in their own vehicle, nearly striking pedestrians in the bar parking lot. The alleged victim of the robbery described the robbers as two black men. The alleged victim reported that one of the men was brandishing a firearm in his waistband.

During the course of the investigation, police learned that Graham had been one of the shooters in the incident in downtown Minot shortly after the robbery on Sunday.
