The Magic City Lions Club will be holding a root beer float event on June 7 from 1-4 p.m. at the Maysa Arena. The event is being held to commemorate June 7 being designated as Lions Day in North Dakota.

The root beer floats will be free to the public. Children and adults that attend are allowed to bring their own kites. Josh Ressler of the Magic City Lions Club said kites will not be provided by the club or by the park district.
