Kerri Lee Weishaar, 52, Minot, is accused of forcing her way into a northwest Minot apartment at about 7 a.m. on May 6, and beating up another woman.

Weishaar is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony burglary.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Weishaar went over to the residence to confront the woman about a prior theft complaint involving Weishaar’s son and the alleged victim. The alleged victim told police that she does not know Weishaar. Weishaar knocked her to the ground and punched her in the face with closed fists. Weishaar left and said she then called the police to report the incident and waited for them to arrive. The alleged victim intended to seek medical treatment.
