Stanley Young charged with intent to deliver methamphetamine, cocaine

Stanley Lamarr Young, 41, Minot, is charged with three Class B felonies for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana on Tuesday morning in Minot. He is also charged with Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and Class A misdemeanor driving with a suspended driver’s license.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, police received a report at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday that suspicious people were sitting inside their cars in the parking lot of the Off Broadway Laundromat in Minot. Young was seated in a Ford Taurus and began to drive away when he saw the patrol car pull up. Police ordered him to stop. Police determined that Young had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. While they were speaking with Young outside the vehicle, an officer spotted a bag protruding from inside the vehicle. Young told them it contained marijuana. Police searched the vehicle and found 15 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 15.2 grams of suspected cocaine, and 30 grams of suspected marijuana and paraphernalia.
