Noah Abraham, La’Quint Sarvis charged with conspiracy to steal ammunition

Noah Javaris Abraham, 22, Minot, and La’Quint Tydelle Sarvis, 19, Fayetteville, N.C., are each charged in district court in Minot with Class C felony conspiracy to commit theft of ammunition.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the pair shoplifted two boxes of handgun ammunition from the hunting department at Scheels in Minot on Tuesday. One box of ammunition was valued at $15.99 and one box of ammunition was $22.99. Abraham was seen taking the two boxes of 9mm ammunition off the shelf and handing them to Sarvis, who stuffed them in his pants.

A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for Feb. 27 before Judge Todd Creasp.
