Minot AFB airman injured while on leave in California

Minot AFB Public Affairs issued a statement on Friday that an airman, assigned to the 91st Missile Wing, sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital in Jackson, Calif., on Wednesday. He was on leave in California when he was injured. He had previously been assigned to Travis AFB, Calif. Sacramento Police are investigating the incident.

Media in California reported Keith Keiffer, 32, with the 91st Missile Wing at Minot AFB, was found in a ditch and barely conscious. Detectives said Thursday he was starting to remember things that day and said he may have been the victim of a more serious crime that happened in the Sacramento area. Sacramento Police are trying to confirm his claims, California media reports said.
