Dickens Village Festival tickets go on sale Monday

GARRISON – Tickets go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. for this year’s Dickens Village Festival in Garrison, according to McKaila Behles, director of the Garrison Convention & Visitor’s Bureau.

The annual event turns the community of Garrison into a quaint Victorian town from the era of Charles Dickens.

Tickets can be purchased either by: phone at 1-800-799-4242 or 463-2345, walk in at 52 N. Main St. or online at www.dickensfestival.com.

The Dickens Village Festival runs Thanksgiving weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29-30 and Dec. 1) and also the next two Fridays and Saturdays (Dec. 6-7 and Dec. 13-14).

Individual tickets can be purchased for “A Christmas Carol” play, afternoon entertainment, Family Day entertainment on Dec. 1 and evening entertainment on Dec. 7.

Tickets packages are also available.

Special daily performances this year will include Robby Vee, Nov. 29; The Danny Elvis Show, Nov. 30; illusionist and comic magician Jared Sherlock, Dec. 1; upcoming artist Brianna Helbling, Dec. 6, John Denver “The Tribute,” Dec. 7; renowned pianist Gordy “Crazy Fingers” Lindquist, Dec. 13; and The Looney Lutherans, Dec. 14.

Many special weekend events and other activities are planned.
