Brandin Ashley Fraley, Minot, charged with terrorizing man at mall

Brandin Ashley Fraley, 36, Minot, is accused of threatening a man with a knife at Dakota Square Mall Tuesday afternoon, according to Minot police and a probable cause affidavit filed with the court.

Police say that Fraley went to a business at the mall to talk to a female employee and began to act in a disorderly manner when he was denied access to her. According to the affidavit, the male employee was aware that Fraley and the woman had previously had a domestic disturbance. Fraley began shouting and threatening to fight with the male employee of the store after he was refused entrance to the rear of the store. The male employee from the store then followed Fraley out of the mall and Fraley pulled a knife and brandished it in front of the other man’s face. The alleged victim told police he was afraid Fraley would harm him. Fraley told the other man “I’m not afraid to (expletive) a fat boy up.” Fraley then left the store and was later located at his residence and was placed under arrest.

The incident happened at 4:16 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fraley is charged in district court in Minot with Class C felony terrorizing.

He was scheduled to make an initial appearance in district court in Minot on Wednesday.
