LARIMORE – Michael Coachman of Larimore has announced he will be seeking the Republican endorsement for North Dakota governor in 2020.

Coachman ran unsuccessfully as an independent for secretary of state in 2018 and for lieutenant governor in 2012 and 2016. A retired Air Force veteran, he’s a teacher’s helper at a Christian school and volunteers for a prison ministry.

He said he is running on the principles of restoring the U.S. Constitution in North Dakota by both eliminating laws and regulations that violate citizen rights and educating citizens on the Constitution.
