Minot Police announce promotion
Senior Officer Jared Foley has been promoted to the rank of sergeant. The promotion ceremony for Foley was held late yesterday at the Minot Police Department.
Foley started his career with the department in December, 2010. He was promoted to Senior Police Officer in 2014. Foley has been working the Patrol Division-Afternoon Shift where he serves as a Field Training Officer for new recruits. Additionally, Foley is team leader of the Minot Police Crisis Negotiation Team, a certified law enforcement instructor and is a certified RADAR instructor and De-escalation Techniques.
Foley’s promotion to sergeant results in a move to day shift where he will serve as a supervisor.
