Leeann Whitebull, Minot, sentenced to two years for intent to deliver meth
Leann Valentyne Whitebull, 33, Garrison, was sentenced on Tuesday to five years in prison, with a requirement that she serve two years, followed by three years of supervised probation for intending to deliver methamphetamine in the Minot area on April 8.
The sentence is concurrent with a sentence in the other case. Whitebull has also been ordered to pay $1,350 in court costs and to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation. She will receive credit for 55 days already served in the Ward County Jail.
A search of a purse belonging to Whitebull turned up 3 1/2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, according to court documents. She had been a passenger in a vehicle that was followed by the Ward County Narcotics Task Force after the officer saw the driver leaving a suspected drug house.
