Kalix of Minot to partner with ND Cares

Kalix of Minot will officially partner with the ND Cares coalition today at a ceremony hosted by Kalix and coordinated by ND Cares.

The ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m. at Kalix at 605 27th Street SE in Minot.

Kalix, whose mission is to support privacy, dignity, and purpose for all people, will be a vital link in broadening the ND Cares statewide network dedicated to educating residents about the needs and challenges faced by those who have served in the military and their families, according to a news release.

“North Dakota has some of the most welcoming and military friendly businesses in the country. We at Kalix appreciate and support all of our service members, veterans, their families, and the survivors” said Borgi Beeler, president/CEO of Kalix. “As a federal contractor, we work directly with the U.S. Air Force to perform various support services. We honor the entire military community regardless of branch of service or component and are especially grateful to current and former service members, their families, and survivors who have sacrificed so much in support of our country.”

“We want everyone to know that North Dakota is a welcoming place for our military families, whether you served in a war, during peacetime, or are currently serving. To do that, ND Cares relies on the participation of our businesses and their commitment to military outreach,” said Darcie Handt, executive director of ND Cares. “We look forward to partnering with Kalix to continue the strengthening of an accessible network of support for our service members, veterans, families and survivors.”

The event is free and open to the public.
