Flag Day observance

The program consisted of singing patriotic songs and reading the words of “Ragged Old Flag,” a song by Johnny Cash. At the end of the program American flags attached to ink pens were distributed to all in attendance. Today, June 14, is Flag Day, the day to commemorate the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official U.S. flag in 1777.
