A fire on Thursday morning at 201 25th Street NW displaced a family, according to a press release from the City of Minot. No one was injured.

According to the press release, smoke was coming from a basement window at 6:24 a.m. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire, but there was heavy smoke damage.

The fire is under investigation by the fire marshal and the Minot Police Department.
