BISMARCK (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Mandan woman, Courtney Elizabeth Degree, has died in a car crash in McIntosh County.

The patrol says the woman was thrown from the car when it skidded out of control on a Highway 11 curve west of Ashley Thursday afternoon. A 28-year-old Mandan man, Kahlor Michael Krefting, who was driving, was injured when the car went into the ditch and rolled over. Troopers say the woman wasn’t wearing a seat belt. She was taken to Ashley Medical Center where she died. The driver was rushed to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.
