Minot Police released the name of a male found dead in the parking lot of the City of Minot Public Works building in southeast Minot on Tuesday.

Upon investigation, it was determined the deceased man was Jeffrey Tanberg, 42, Minot, Police said in a news release.

Police and medical personnel responded to the parking lot at 6:26 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival it was determined he was deceased.

At this time, no foul play is suspected in his death, however, the investigation is continuing, Police said. An autopsy is scheduled at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
