Blake Lund, Minot, charged with burglary, terrorizing

Blake Cody Lund, 37, Minot, is accused of breaking into a residence on Wednesday at a southwest Minot address and pointing a knife at a woman there.

Lund is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony burglary and Class C felony terrorizing.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Lund claimed that the woman was trespassing at his residence and he had given her five hours to leave and she told him she would call the police if he did not leave. Lund told police he is on the lease for the residence but police verified that he is not actually on the lease. The woman told police that Lund is an associate of the owner of the residence and he was drunk when he visited the residence earlier in the evening, threatened her, and held a knife to her throat and stomach. She did not call police then because another man who was in the home had gotten Lund out of the home. She said Lund came back, broke in and pointed a knife at her stomach and she called police while he was doing so. Police saw bruising and redness on her stomach.
