Minot Symphony Orchestra presents “The Remarkable Farkle McBride”
On Saturday at 3 p.m., the Minot Symphony Orchestra will be holding its concert “The Remarkable Farkle McBride” in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall on Minot State University campus. There will be a pre-concert lecture and instrument petting zoo starting at 2 p.m.
Efrain Amaya, the MSO Maestro, said they are trying something different this time around. It will start earlier to give families with children a chance to attend.
The tale of “The Remarkable Farkle McBride” is about his quest to find the perfect instrument he wants to play.
Victoria Hoverson, a home-schooled sophomore from Minot, will be the featured soloist for Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major.
Sarah Medalen will join the MSO as the guest narrator for the story.
