Get creative, don a Halloween costume or do a test run of your iMagicon cosplay of your favorite character Saturday at the Little Chicago Pub District’s Cosplay Pub Crawl.

Starting at 6 p.m. in downtown Minot, people over the age of 21 are invited to come out in cosplay for drinks and a cosplay contest as attendees make their way from bar to bar. Pub crawlers can start at either The Tap Room, The Spot or Ebeneezers.

Cosplay gives people the opportunity to dress up as any character from movies, books, TV shows and more. It has grown popular as a hobby since the 1990s and is common at events and conventions such as iMagicon.

The Cosplay Pub Crawl will be a precede to the iMagicon events taking place next weekend. Those who are attending and have already purchased tickets for the convention can use them to get a a VIP band for the pub crawl for free. All attendees have to do is show the ticket purchase.

For those who want a VIP band but don’t have an iMagicon ticket, the band costs $10. A VIP band gives the wearer specials on drinks.

Each bar on the path will have themed drinks for attendees to enjoy and at 11 p.m., a cosplay contest will take place and give attendees a chance to win prizes.
