Relay for Life Lifesavers hosts annual vendor show

The Lifesavers Relay for Life Vendor Show has taken place for three years at the old Vegas Motel. Now for their fourth year, they will be moving to the Minot Municipal Auditorium. The move will give better access for people to stop by and see all that the vendors have to offer. Submitted Photo

Relay for Life teams work in a variety of ways to help raise funds to fight cancer. For the Trinity team known as Lifesavers, they will be returning again with their annual Relay for Life Vendor Show Saturday.

Entering its fourth year, the vendor show has moved to a new location. It will be opening at 10 a.m. at the Minot Municipal Auditorium. With free admission, the vendor show is expected to have quite the array of vendors for shoppers to enjoy.

“We are excited about this year because of our new, more central location,” said Angie Hoover. “We’re hoping for a bigger attendance.”

The show is expected to have 15 to 20 vendors from Avon to Scentsy to Pink Zebra to Pampered Chef and more. Pampered Chef will even be hosting a close-out sale for old products that are now discounted while featuring new ones.

Vendors will be donating some of their sales to Lifesavers. Hoover says it is a win-win situation. Vendors get their names and products out and turn around to give back to the community by donating.

“It also helps get some early shopping done for the holidays,” Hoover said.

A lunch of Taco in a Bag will be served alongside the vendors. The cost per bag will be $5 and all proceeds go to Relay for Life.

The Fourth Annual Relay for Life Vendor Show will run until 2 p.m.
