On Feb. 1, Rev. Keith Mills, the Conference Minister of the United Church of Christ Northern Plains Conference died suddenly of a major heart attack at his home in Streeter. He was 65. The Northern Plains Conference consists of 40 churches in North Dakota and Winnipeg, Canada. The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a mainline Protestant Christian denomination formed in 1957 by a merger between the Evangelical and Reformed Churches and Congregational Christian Churches.
